The $6.1 billion in surplus money held by the unaccountable Indiana Republican supermajority has been created by shuffling more and more of their responsibilities onto cash strapped local governments and cash strapped Hoosiers while they brag about low taxes and huge budget surpluses. $6.1 billion is enough to pay $1,000 to every man woman and child in Indiana and it would take more than 100,000 years for most Hoosiers to earn that amount of money.
