Goals and Objectives if Elected
Bob has identified a number of goals and objectives if elected to serve on the county council:
Infrastructure: An infrastructure that can handle the demands of the 21st century.
- Organized construction program to upgrade and pave county roads;
- Affordable access to high speed internet for everyone;
- Reliable electricity (developed through green energy sources); and
- Dependable sources of clean water.
Pollution: We should not accept being the most polluted county in Indiana and one of the most polluted counties in the entire nation as the cost of doing business.
- Stop approving new fossil fuel endeavors;
- Create green jobs in Spencer County;
- Encourage construction of new housing using green technologies; and
- Lower pollution levels to encourage people to locate in Spencer County.
Poverty
- Support programs that addresses hunger;
- Help raise the wages of workers through encouraging unionization of workers;
- Address the problem of blighted properties;
- Promote the construction of low-income housing; and
- Partner with our towns for revitalization to promote creation of new businesses in Spencer County.
