The Spencer County Democratic Party is pleased to introduce one of our newest candidates to appear on the November ballot. Jessica Weber of Richland is running for County Council District 1 which covers Luce, Grass, and Jackson Townships. Jessica and her husband, Derek, have been married for 9 years and have three children: Harper (7), Nora, (5), and Jensen (3). Jessica earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University in Indianapolis and has worked in IT at Deaconess for the past 10 years. Jessica is also co-troop leader of Luce Elementary Girl Scout Troop #223. Jessica says, “I’m running because I am tired of feeling helpless. My kids are growing up in Spencer County and I am passionate about making a positive impact for them and their future.” We are excited to have Jessica on our ticket and encourage to get to know Jessica and support her this November.
