Local Party Chairmen Issue Joint Statement
BREAKING NEWS: The Spencer County Democrats and The Spencer County Republicans agree! Damaging or stealing yards signs is bad form and illegal. Just leave them alone and respect one another. Below is a joint statement issued by both county chairmen:
Dear Fellow Spencer County Voters,Follow Spencer County Democrats on social media!
We come to you to ask that the voters please continue to respect each other and their beliefs. We ask that everyone do their part to not create division in our County by removing signs of the opposite party. We don’t want Spencer County to become what we see in other places in the state and country. We’re all Spencer County residents and will remain neighbors and friends after the election. We must work together to be part of the solution and not part of the problem.
We also ask that you don’t place signs in the right-of-ways. This can block vision and also hinder the mowing process.
