Congratulations Sectional Champs!
Congratulations to the Heritage Hills Patriots and South Spencer Rebels! Both county schools won their respective boys basketball sectionals over the weekend. The Patriots took care of business winning the Boonville Class 3A Sectional with a 79-53 victory over Evansville Memorial after defeating the 9th ranked Bosse Bulldogs in the semifinals on Friday night. The Rebels took the Class 2A Sectional in Huntingburg in nail biting fashion by defeating the North Posey Vikings 56-55 in overtime following a 4th quarter come from behind win against Southridge on Friday evening. Good luck to both county teams as they advance to the regional competition this Saturday!
