Join us on Sunday, July 29 at the Spencer County 4-H Center for the 2018 Spencer County Democrat Summer Social! Doors will open starting at 11:00 AM and a delicious summer social meal will be served at noon including fried chicken, ham, potato casserole, green beans, corn, salad and cold drinks. For dessert we’ll have homemade ice cream and other homemade desserts (please feel free to bring one to share).
This will be a great opportunity to:
- Meet your congressional and state representative candidates– William Tanoos for 8th District U.S. Representative; Jon Hurley for District 75 State Representative; and Larry Kleeman for District 74 State Representative.
- Meet other local candidates– Dan Wilkinson, Prosecuting Attorney; Kelli Reinke for Sheriff; Chris Anderson for Coroner; Jane McGinnis, Assessor; Eleisha Shelton for Auditor; Matt Hayko for County Council; Beth Hurm for County Council; Todd Grundhoefer for County Council; and Todd Ruxer, County Council.
- Get registered to vote!
- Apply for an absentee ballot!
- Volunteer to help elect our candidates in November!
- Enjoy some great food, fun and fellowship!
