Central Committee Election March 4th

The Spencer County Democratic Central Committee will conduct its election of officers on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 10:00 AM CST in the lower level of the Spencer County Public Library in Rockport.

All current precinct committeepersons and vice-committeepersons are eligible to vote in the election of officers. If you are unsure of your eligibility to vote, please contact vice-chair, Sara Arnold.

All persons interested in being a candidate for any central committee office must indicate their intent to do so by delivering their declaration in writing to chairman Don Spellmeyer no later than February 22, 2017. Written declarations should be mailed or delivered in person to:

As of now, the current office holders have agreed to serve again, if elected, and are slated as follows:

Vice-chair: Sara Arnold
Secretary:   Karen Waninger
Treasurer:   Dan Wilkinson

All eligible precinct officers are strongly encouraged to attend and participate.
